Obama makes up so much, we can't tell what is truth or tale anymore. It's starting to feel like we are living through his next work of Fiction, slated for release next year.
If the media wasn't trying to cover for him, either out of embarrassment, or because they don't want to tip their hand yet, we would be laughing silly with his countless misspeaks and gaffes.
"On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong", Barack Obama
Except when they are reckless lies about someone else or their record. As he has resorted to with Senator Clinton. But he has since started expanding his focus and is now getting quite the reputation as the the False Accuser.
"It’s a trend that undermines Barack Obama’s credibility"
"McCain camp calls Obama 'recklessly dishonest"
"Obama blames Lou Dobbs
Speaking in Florida, Sen. Barack Obama blamed Lou Dobbs for the rise in hate crime. CNN's Bill Tucker reports."
(at a closed Fundraiser in Florida)
"Obama Points a Finger at Lou".
Presidential candidate Barack Obama last week took aim at Lou Dobbs and this broadcast, saying, “There’s a reason why hate crimes against Hispanic people doubled last year. If you have people like Lou Dobbs and Rush Limbaugh ginning things up, it’s not surprising that would happen.” Click here for our report
But it went even further this past Memorial Day, when he appeared in Las Cruces, NM, when his fabricated tales was an effort to politicize the Holocaust, not just agitate and incite with Hispanic voters in Florida as he did with Lou Dobbs.
" Despite not having served in the military himself, Barack Obama used his Memorial Day remarks to speak about his family’s service. “My grandfather marched in Patton’s army, but I cannot know what it is to walk into battle like so many of you,” he told a small group of veterans here. “My grandmother worked on a bomber assembly line, but I cannot know what it is for a family to sacrifice like so many of yours have.”Obama said he supports the new GI Bill because of his grandfather’s experience in the program after World War II. “We should make sure that today’s veterans get the same benefit that my grandfather got when he came back from World War II,” Obama said. “It was a good investment not only for him, but it was a good investment for the country, built our middle class. So we're going to make sure that that gets passed.”
Obama also spoke about his uncle, who was part of the American brigade that helped to liberate Auschwitz. He said the family legend is that, upon returning from war, his uncle spent six months in an attic. “Now obviously, something had really affected him deeply, but at that time there just weren’t the kinds of facilities to help somebody work through that kind of pain,” Obama said. “That’s why this idea of making sure that every single veteran, when they are discharged, are screened for post-traumatic stress disorder and given the mental health services that they need – that’s why it’s so important."
Oh, is that why?
"(CNN) — The Republican National Committee accused Barack Obama Tuesday of a lack of judgment after the Illinois senator mistakenly said that his uncle helped liberate the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz while serving in the American military during World War II.In fact, that concentration camp was liberated by Soviet soldiers in 1945.
Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton released a statement later Tuesday clarifying the remarks, saying the Illinois senator meant to refer to the Buchenwald camp, which American soldiers did liberate. Obama was also apparently referring to his great uncle, Charles Payne.
“Senator Obama’s family is proud of the service of his grandfather and uncles in World War II – especially the fact that his great uncle was a part of liberating one of the concentration camps at Buchenwald."
OK, so it wasn't Auschwitz, it was Buchenwald his Uncle took part in, and it was actually his Great Uncle. What other parts of what Senator Obama said should we look in to? I'm sure most of us never thought we would have to go so far as to check the truths of Senator Obama's recounts and history of his own family members that he chooses to invoke on his campaign stump.
